Placements24 is seeking individuals for a Trade Apprentice - Electrical position based in Richards Bay. This hands-on apprenticeship will train you to become a qualified electrician, working alongside experienced tradespeople on-site across various industrial and commercial settings.

You will learn electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and safety protocols while developing practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to completing a full trade apprenticeship program.
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
• Basic understanding of mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Richards Bay.
• Matric with a focus on technical subjects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians in installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Support the setup and testing of electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations strictly, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Help diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions under supervision.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
