The ideal candidate will have experience in a mechanized mining environment, a recognized Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate, and the ability to work safely on trackless machines. The Trackless Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the refurbishment, assembly and commissioning of equipment and maintain reliability on the equipment until handover to the relevant section for production. The role requires safe task execution in respect of changing of major components, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and repairing faults. Team members are expected to demonstrate a focus on safety, achievement and team engagement in all aspects of their work.
