Overview

Are you passionate about customer service, logistics, and operations excellence? CRUSADE Logistics is looking for a dynamic Customer Service Centre (CSC) Agent to join our team.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and full compliance across customer delivery processes and fleet operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, logistics-driven environment and is ready to lead from the front.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence
  • Accurately capture and track customer orders
  • Provide real-time updates on delivery status
  • Maintain 98%+ on customer update surveys
  • Ensure timely, accurate submission of Proof of Deliveries (PODs)
  • Provide proactive communication and ETA adjustments to clients
Operational & Asset Monitoring
  • Track fleet assets and driver activities hourly
  • Log all delays, unauthorized stops, and loading/offloading issues
  • Ensure completion of OTR forms and Journey Plans
  • Monitor and report on fuel consumption and driver behavior
Vehicle & Equipment Compliance
  • Conduct daily OTR, panic button, and DriveCam tests
  • Ensure scanners are operational and escalate faults
  • Perform random compliance checks and update logs accordingly
Legal & HSSE Compliance
  • Monitor driver speed, rest times, and route adherence
  • Report traffic delays and assist with rerouting as needed
  • Ensure daily camera surveillance and tracking screen monitoring
  • Download and log DriveCam footage for safety reviews
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in a logistics customer service environment
  • Strong knowledge of fleet tracking systems (e.g., Ctrack, Fleetboard)
  • Proven ability to manage delivery schedules and communicate with clients under pressure
  • Familiarity with legal and HSSE standards in logistics
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work flexible hours/shifts (12 hour shift)

Pay: Up to R8000,00 per month

Experience: Fuel/ freight logistics tracking, fleet and customer service: 1 year (Required)
