TOOLMAKER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME - INDUSTRIA
Job Description:

We are assisting our client with and exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our clients TOOLMAKER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME. This structured training program will provide hands-on experience in tool and die making, CNC machining, and mould manufacturing, with exposure to Autodesk Fusion and SCam for CAD/CAM programming. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop the technical skills required for a successful career in precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of injection and blow moulds, dies, jigs, and tooling.
  • Operate and learn to program CNC milling, lathes, grinding, and EDM machines.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
  • Support toolmakers in fitting, assembling, and testing tools to meet required tolerances.
  • Learn about materials, machining processes, and quality control standards.
  • Participate in classroom and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science OR N3 Engineering Studies.
  • Passion for engineering, machining, and precision manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
