The role involves designing and manufacturing tools and jigs, troubleshooting tooling issues, and modifying existing tools. Candidates must possess significant experience in toolmaking and familiarity with CNC machines and CAD/CAM software, particularly in the plastic industry.

Qualifications

• 5 Years experience in toolmaking.
• Must be proficient in CAD / CAM software.
• Must have experience coming from the Plastic Industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture tools, jigs, and dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Modify and repair existing tools, jigs, and dies.
• Construct and repair dies for plastic injection molding and pressings.
• Update tooling records.

Overview

Designing and manufacturing tools, jigs and dies.

Troubleshooting tooling issues.

Modifying and repairing existing tools, jigs and dies.

Constructing and repairing dies for plastic injection molding and pressings.

Designing and manufacturing jigs and fixtures

Updating tooling records

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tool design and manufacturing
• Knowledge ofMould Tooling, Press Tooling, 3D Cad Drawing, CNC Machining, Wire Cutting, Spark Eroder.
• 5 Years experience in toolmaking
• EDM Spark eroder, Wire Cutter
• Must be proficient in CAD / CAM software
• Must be familiar with CNC Machine
• Must have understanding of injection Moulding processes and / or press tooling
• Qualified Tool, Jig & Die Maker
