Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a warm and energetic Childcare Assistant to support the lead teacher in a vibrant Tembisa toddler program. You will help create a secure, nurturing atmosphere for children aged 18 months to 3 years, assisting with daily activities and parent communication.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence for direct interactions and care, with remote contributions to program planning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably with toddlers.
• Foundational understanding of early childhood development principles.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily activities for toddlers.
