A leading Food Manufacturing company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced HR Manager. The role involves leading an HR team, executing HR strategies, and managing recruitment and training initiatives. Candidates must have a degree in Human Resources Management and over 8 years of experience in HR Generalist roles. Knowledge of relevant labor laws and FMCG experience is advantageous. Employer Description: Our client is a Food Manufacturing client based in the Western Suburbs of West Cape

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop a high-performing HR team reflective of the company's values
  • Development and execution of the HR Strategy
  • Drive and execute the recruitment and selection process from end to end including the facilitation of onboarding processes
  • Drive and execute the performance management process including the development of job profiles
  • Effective Management of HR Problems considering long‑term and short‑term employee requirements
  • Manage and coordinate training and development initiatives including implementation of learnerships, internships and skills programmes
  • Facilitation of employment equity committee and skills development meetings in accordance with the employment equity plan
  • Providing quality HR advise and support to the business
  • Other related duties
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Qualifications: Matriculation, Degree in Human Resources Management or Related
  • 8+ years as the HR Generalist
  • Experience with CCMA representation
  • Knowledge and understanding of BCEA, LRA and SDA
  • Experience from FMCG advantageous
