TLC Head Office has an opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Planner. To accurately execute and maintain The Local Choice merchandising standards by ensuring the merchandising standards are in accordance with TLC Pharmacy policies and procedures.
Essential
- Grade 12 - Matric
- Minimum 0 - 6 months retail work
Advantage
- Diploma in Retail, Consumer Science relevant qualification
- 1 Year work experience
Roles & Responsibilities
Merchandising Planning:
- Assist in the execution of the corporate planogram for TLC while addressing store stock levels, space gains and ease of execution for resetting the stores.
- Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times.
- Ensure labels and pricing are correct at all times.
- Identify and report all price discrepancies to management.
- Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained according to The Local Choice procedures.
- Identify merchandise space planning business challenges and report to the Senior Planner.
- Ensure items without barcodes are clearly marked.
- Handle all merchandise carefully to prevent losses.
Customer Liaison
- Provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to The Local Choice Franchisee.
- Assist with the training of new and current team members.
- Partner with internal teams such as operations, marketing for all projects when required.
General
- Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
