Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ TLC requires a Course Developer to provide support and assistance to TLC learning and development partner, specifically in regard to administration and course development.
Essential qualifications
- Grade 12
- 5 years’ experience in training provider admin and course development
Qualification & experience
- ODETDP qualification OR course development short course or unit standards
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administration support:
- Reporting to franchisees on training progress, assisting with training implementation in-store
- Communicating results to internal and external customers
- Performing administration tasks for LocalEd, including grading and filing of assessments, communicating with stakeholders
- Course development and design:
- Performing training needs analyses for Head Office and franchise as whole to identify learning objectives and target audience requirements
- Applying instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences
- Developing course materials such as e-learning modules, presentations, videos, and assessments
- Working with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to design and develop course materials according to industry needs.
- Assessing the effectiveness of course materials and making improvements based on feedback and data.
- Utilizing multimedia and technology tools to enhance the learning experience and keeping up with industry trends and advancements in educational technology.
