Job summary

People Dimension seeks a TLB Operator to perform trench digging, material loading, debris clearance, and daily machine checks on a construction site in Pretoria. You will operate a TLB, ensure safety, and maintain equipment with accuracy.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience and valid operator certificates, a Code 10 license with PrDP, and Grade 9 literacy. Remuneration is R10 000–R13 000 CTC per month.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of on-site TLB operating experience.
• Must be able to read and write at least a Grade 9 level.
• Must hold a valid TLB Operator Certificate (CETA or TETA).
• Must hold a valid Code 10 (C1) Driver's License with PrDP.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches by operating the TLB to lay pipes, cables or foundations.
• Load materials by lifting and dumping soil, sand, or gravel into trucks.
• Clear debris and keep the site tidy and safe.
• Inspect the TLB daily for leaks, loose parts, and fluids before use.

• Loading materials: Lift and dump heavy dirt, sand, or gravel into tipper trucks.

• Clearing debris: Clean up trash, rocks, and leftover materials from the construction site.

• Checking the machine: Look over the vehicle daily for oil leaks, loose parts, and low fluids before starting work.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Valid TLB Operator Certificate (CETA or TETA accredited)

• Valid Operator Card / License (must be current and not expired)

• Valid Code 10 (C1) Driver's License with professional driving permit (PrDP)

• Minimum Grade 9 school report or equivalent (must be able to read and write)

• 1 to 2 years of experience operating a TLB on site (preferred)

Package & Remuneration

R 10 000 - R 13 000 CTC pm
