Job summary

Ambition 24Hours has secured an exclusive opportunity at a leading private hospital in Klerksdorp, North West. We’re looking for trained, experienced Theatre Scrub Nurses who want stable work and a clear path to a permanent position.

This isn’t ad-hoc shift work. We’ve negotiated a 3-month contract with guaranteed hours. If you perform well over those 3 months, the hospital has the option to appoint you permanently.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
• At least 2 years’ scrub experience.
• Experience across general, orthopaedic, gynae/obs, laparoscopic, urology and ENT theatres; able to scrub across most and manage emergencies.
• Fluent Afrikaans is essential for theatre and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in across multiple theatre specialties and assist during procedures.
• Maintain patient safety through clear communication and teamwork.
• Adapt to a private hospital theatre complex with a structured team.

Skills

Theatre scrub experience

Fluent Afrikaans (spoken and written)

Current BLS/ACLS certificate

Education

Registered Nurse with SANC registration
