Responsibilities

• Designing and developing product test equipment for the production environment.
• Implementing designs to meet production needs on time.
• Developing test infrastructure for manual and automated testing by product development teams.
• Optimizing and enhancing existing testing infrastructure to minimize test time and cost.
• Maintaining existing test equipment to uphold product quality standards.
• Monitoring and analyzing test data regularly.
• Providing support to external manufacturing companies.
• Adhering to engineering practices and customer/company specifications.
• Working both independently and collaboratively, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reporting any issues that may affect product performance, reliability, schedule, cost, or employee performance, and recommending improvements.
• Staying updated with changes in technologies and conducting proof of concept investigations into new tools, methods, and test strategies.
• Possibly traveling overseas to test facilities.

Requirements

B.Eng or MEng in Electronic Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of experience in product testing or a similar environment.

Experience with C/C++ or C# software development.

Proficiency in Python scripting.

Understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Knowledge of printed circuit board design (schematics).

Experience in embedded programming and debugging.

Familiarity with hardware interfaces like RS-232, SPI, I2C, USB, etc.

Experience with Raspberry Pi development.
