Oversee the full lifecycle of test planning, execution and reporting.
Drive test automation strategy; identify and implement efficiency opportunities.
Manage regression testing, UAT coordination and cross‑team collaboration.
Ensure test environments are controlled and defects are documented and resolved.
Represent the testing team at CAB and interdepartmental forums.
Serve as the subject matter expert on testing for internal stakeholders.
Ensure consistent feedback loops and alignment with SLAs.
Lead, mentor and develop the test team.
Forecast resourcing needs and execute effective workforce planning.
Manage performance and development, create a high‑performance culture.
Drive innovation and a learning‑focused work climate.
Contribute to budget planning, cost management and operational efficiency.
Ensure governance compliance and risk identification within QA scope.
Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelors degree in IT or relevant field (essential)
ISTQB Certification (desirable)
6 - 8 years in system testing (essential)
2 - 3 years in a leadership / management role (essential)
Experience with diverse testing tools and large‑scale IT projects (advantageous)
Experience in financial services or insurance (preferred)
Strong leadership and stakeholder management
Excellent planning, documentation and communication skill
Ability to analyse testing protocols and integrate automation
Strategic thinking, decision‑making and performance management
Familiarity with testing standards and quality assurance frameworks
