Job summary

Hired Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the Pomona, Kempton Park territory and related locations for our client. The role covers sales, marketing and extensive customer liaison activities to grow orders and market share.

You will visit customers, prepare quotations and maintain the sales database, while coordinating with other departments to ensure stock availability and accurate order processing. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• Knowledge of the Plastics and piping industry and markets is preferred.
• Experience with piping, fittings and valve products or related water/gas/fuel supplies is advantageous.
• Financial literacy and business acumen are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all sales, marketing and customer liaison activities within the allocated territory.
• Make regular sales visits to customers and prospective customers to market products and services.
• Prepare comprehensive sales quotations and accurately capture orders.
• Maintain and update the sales database and generate regular reports.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities and track new leads.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain high satisfaction ratings.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure stock availability and timely deliveries.
• Attend local shows and marketing activities as required.
• Submit reports and forecasts on a regular basis.
