Responsibilities

• Promotion of new business opportunities from within designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
• Servicing of existing business opportunities from within designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
• Assisting in the development of spares and servicing business in the designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
• Collection and interpretation of information from customers to produce a well engineered and accurately costed solution according to client specific needs.
• Presentation of solutions to clients.
• Keeping abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity.
• Customer Relationship Management: Follow up and closure of all business opportunities.
• Production of business opportunity and follow up reports.
• Maintenance of business opportunity recording and filing systems.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 2 – 5 years' experience in a technical sales role.
• literacy (Microsoft office suite, CRM).
• Excellent and written communication skills.
• Proven external sales track record.
• Commercial sales knowledge.
• Confident and determined approach.
