Job summary

A leading airline in South Africa is seeking a stock controller to manage inventory for airside logistics. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 qualification, at least one year of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of stock management principles. Job description

Responsibilities and qualifications

• Perform physical stock counts for airside trolleys and storage areas.
• Accurately record and capture stock data in designated systems.
• Verify that all trolleys are correctly sealed and that stock handling complies with approved procedures.
• Monitor adherence to operational and compliance procedures by both flight crew and catering partners. Promptly report any discrepancies or instances of non‑compliance to management.
• Assist with ad hoc stock control and compliance related activities as required.
• Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (Advantageous);
• 1 year experience in stock control, inventory, compliance monitoring or related (Essential);
• Experience within aviation, catering, or FMCG environments (Advantageous);
• Familiarity with stock management systems and ERP platforms (Advantageous);
• Willing to work overtime and standby;
• Basic stock management principle understanding.
