Job description

The Faircape Group comprises a diverse portfolio of companies operating across Healthcare, Retirement Living, Telecommunications and ISP services, Utility Management and Infrastructure Installation, Property Management, and various related sectors.

We are seeking a professional, organised, and well-presented Temporary Front Desk / Receptionist to support our Claremont Office in the Southern Suburbs over the December period. This individual will be the first point of contact for our staff, visitors, and service providers, and must uphold our standards of professionalism, hospitality, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet all visitors in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Answer and transfer telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered to the relevant person timeously (verbally, electronically, or in writing).
  • Open, stamp, and distribute all incoming mail daily.
  • Ensure all communication is conducted with professionalism and clarity.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the front desk accurately and timeously.
  • Manage and assist with deliveries, maintenance personnel, service providers, and contractors entering the premises.
  • Support the team with any ad hoc administrative responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Matric
  • Computer literate (Google Workspace / Google Docs advantageous)
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Administrator
  • Strong administrative ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Experience in a medical or healthcare environment advantageous
  • Neat, well-presented, and professional
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Two solid and positive written references

Working Hours: Normal working days are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00
