Purpose of the Position

The Temporary Financial Accountant will support financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting processes. The role involves analyzing financial data, investigating deviations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial records.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Comply with tax filing requirements, advising management, calculating quarterly estimated tax payments, and assembling data for quarterly and annual filings.
  • Gather, monitor, and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, including balance sheets, general ledgers, and income statements.
  • Investigate allocation variances in the general ledger and verify accuracy.
  • Monitor and report accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist with preparation of year-end and statutory accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy of subordinate financial records.
  • Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Review and document deviations from business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Process payments as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in line with work, quality, and HSE procedures.
Skills and Competencies Required
  • Undergraduate qualification in Financial Accounting or Financial Management.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting-related roles.
