Job summary

A global BPO giant is seeking a Financial Manager to own cash flow forecasting and budgeting. You will deliver insights through management accounts, strengthen internal controls, and partner with global finance teams. The ideal candidate has a BCom in Accounting or is a Newly Qualified CA(SA), with 3 to 5 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in Xero. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years in a Financial Manager role, not audit-only.
  • Experience in the services industry, preferably BPO.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Own cash flow forecasting, budgeting & financial planning
  • Deliver monthly management accounts with insight, not just numbers
  • Track income, expenses, risks & opportunities to boost performance
  • Strengthen internal controls, efficiencies & compliance across finance
  • Lead Xero cost centre reporting & ensure accurate allocations
  • Oversee ledgers, invoicing, reconciliations & VAT
  • Manage cross-border transactions & SARB compliance
  • Partner with global finance teams on intercompany reporting
Job Experience & Skills Required
  • BCom in Accounting / Finance OR Newly Qualified CA(SA)
  • 3 to 5 years in a Financial Manager role (not audit‑only)
  • Services industry exposure (BPO preferred)
  • Strong people leadership & stakeholder management
  • Xero experience non‑negotiable
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, models, the works)
  • Strong commercial, analytical & problem‑solving skills
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment
