As a Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist in Clinical Pathology, you are a key contributor to the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic results that support critical healthcare decisions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) or a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Medical Laboratory Science (BSc MLS).
  • Be registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology.
  • Have 0–5 years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting.
Skills
  • Proficient in using computer technology to support laboratory operations and data analysis.
  • Fluency in both English and Afrikaans for clear communication across teams and with clients.
  • Strong numerical reasoning to support accuracy in calculations and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster a people‑centric culture that ignites engagement and collaboration.
