Due to business growth there is a vacancy for an experienced Technical Support Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of new computer systems
• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Talk clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone (telephonic support), to help set up systems or resolve issues and faults.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Knowledge of networks and CCTV systems
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Prioritize and manage support emails.
• Network / CCTV Camera and NVR support
• Front desk invoicing and stock-take

Qualifications

• Seeking IT Technical Support Technician with 3 years of working experience
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Microsoft MCSE will be an advantage
• A+, N+ advantage
• Knowledge of fault‑finding
• Experience in troubleshooting and setting up computer systems
