Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Technical Writer to support one of our clients in creating high‑quality documentation and training materials.

In this role, you’ll work closely with client stakeholders, subject matter experts, and creative teams to transform complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.

This opportunity is freelance‑based and project‑driven, with varied scope depending on the client’s needs.

Main Project Scope
  • Developing, organising, and maintaining training content in multiple formats including playbooks, API references, integration guides, online courses, face‑to‑face training, and end‑to‑end curriculum design.
  • Translating complex technical concepts (e.g., AI, APIs, developer tools, cybersecurity) into simple, engaging learning content for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Creating enablement materials such as presentation decks, demo guides, eLearning modules, videos, infographics, and job aids.
  • Designing and adapting curricula and structured learning journeys to boost engagement, confidence, and retention.
  • Collaborating with SMEs to gather information, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment with product intent.
  • Contributing to client learning strategies by acting as a consultant and shaping impactful solutions.
  • Applying adult learning techniques to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and effective.
  • Maintaining a consistent documentation style guide across deliverables.
  • Exploring opportunities to apply AI‑driven tools to improve workflows, efficiency, and content quality.
  • Ensuring all work aligns with client brand guidelines and FYXER’s service standards.

  • Code literacy comfortable reading and explaining snippets in YAML, JSON, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with AI tools, APIs, or enterprise use cases for emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects.
