A technology service provider in Johannesburg is seeking a Technical Support Consultant to provide exceptional customer support. The role involves handling various inquiries and requires at least 2 years of experience in a customer care or IT support role. Applicants must be fluent in English and hold a Matric certificate with Maths literacy. This position offers opportunities for growth within the company and requires shift work based on client time zones.
We are looking for a Technical Support Consultant who will be the front line of the customer care team, providing exceptional support to our valued clients.
You will be responsible for handling a wide range of inquiries, from initial setup and onboarding to ongoing technical requests raised via different channels, including email and phone.
You will report directly to the Team Leader, Client Operations.
Requirements:
• Able to speak fluent English with a neutral accent.
• Matric (Maths and Maths literacy is compulsory).
• Computer literate and be able to type at least 35 wpm, without errors.
• Clear criminal record.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a Call Centre Customer Care, Desktop Support Background in IT.
• Additional Skills: self‑motivated, able to work under pressure, energetic and passionate, hungry for growth, able to work shifts based on our client time zones.
