About the role

The Engineer / Representative - Technical Services supports customer Technical Services requirements including a strong emphasis on Product Stewardship, delivery of measurable value to customers and sustainable revenue to Orica.

What you will be doing
  • Key Accountabilities: Develops Customer Technical Relationship, Contributes to customer needs and business development opportunity identification, Analyses blast measurements and assessing performance against a baseline, Prepares of differentiation product and services offerings, Manages product / service implementation projects, Develops case studies, Product application stewardship, Runs training and accrediting customers in Orica courses, Conducts training and mentoring for Blast Technicians.

BAND F PEOPLE LEADER
  • Minimum 7 years experience post qualification.
  • Experience leading a team, including building a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
  • Ability to plan, influence & execute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
BAND F TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
  • Ability to plan, influence & execute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
  • Role dependent - technical & / or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics / visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
