Technical Sales Representative required in Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development and Implementation
- Understand the market, competitiors and customers’ needs
- Identify constraints and growth opportunities
- Develop and adjust strategies to align with company goals
- Industry Neworking and Lead Generation
- Rankand manage customers effectively
- Dedicate time to prospecting and engaging with key industry players
- Attend industry events and leverage social media
- Sales and Value Communication
- Develop strong product knowledge and understand customer requirements
- Create compelling sales pitches emphasising product differentiation
- Handle site complaints objectively and find win-win solutions
- Project Management
- Engage with key decision makers on construction sites
- Track project timelines, production, logistics and deliveries
- Maintain strong site presence and resolve issues proactively
- Sales Administration and Reporting
- Manage customer accounts, quotes, orders and complaints efficiently
- Utilise CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (Syspro) systems
- Submit reports and maintain accurate records
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- A relevant tertiary qualification in sales or marketing will be beneficial
- 5+ years in technical sales preferably in construction or engineering sectors
- Experience in growing a customer base and selling based on product differentiation
- Familiarity with SANS standards and project tracking
- Strong communication, negotiation and technical sales skills
- Ability to manage time, customers and territory effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems and sales tools
- Ability to work under pressure, be detail oriented and collaborate with the rest of the team
