A leading engineering services company in Cape Town is seeking a motivated sales professional in industrial automation. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets while building strong client relationships, particularly in sectors like Factory & Process Automation and Power & Renewables. Applicants must have an engineering background, valid driver's license, and 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.

"Power & Renewables" (e.g. Solar, Power Plants, BESS, etc.)– you will report to the sales manager, working closely with the sales & tech support team to provide critical & professional services to existing & new clients (such as engineers, within both government and blue-collar / private companies) within the industrial automation market.
QualificationBCom / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical / networks or similar (Advantageous)CISCO / CCNA N+ (Advantageous)MUST BE South African Citizen and valid IDOwn reliable car and valid (Code B) Driver's license (advantage PDP license)Must Reside in Cape Town areaDesired Experience3 - 5 years successful external sales experience within a similar experience providing engineering / technical sales support solutionsMUST HAVE Sales / background in Engineering, Networking, Electrical industrial automation, plant automation solutions (or similar)MUST HAVE Experience in Sectors : Factory & Process Automation, Industrial, Petrochemical, Solar, Power Plants, BESS, Mining, Hazardous Environment etc.Selling, designing, supporting, and implementing industrial automation applications and solutionsBasic knowledge of SAP software (training provided)CRM experienceMS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (presentations)Ability to work under pressureTravelling & consulting as and where needed
