Job

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Johannesburg Branch. The Technical Sales Representative will focus on promoting and selling our full range of Parker Hannifin compressed air treatment products, including Parker air driers, filtration systems, condensate management solutions, and general compressed air equipment supplied by CADF.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Parker Hannifin products
  • Provide technical product recommendations based on client applications and system specifications
  • Conduct site visits, compressed air assessments, and identify opportunities for Parker system upgrades or efficiency improvements
  • Prepare detailed quotations, technical proposals, and product sizing for Parker driers, filters, and compressed air equipment
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across manufacturing, industrial, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and engineering sectors
  • Conduct Parker product training for clients, including maintenance guidelines and operational best practices
  • Work with service teams to coordinate installations, commissioning, and after-sales support for Parker equipment
  • Stay updated on the latest Parker technologies, product ranges, and compressed air purification standards
  • Develop new business opportunities, expand market reach, and achieve monthly and annual Parker product sales targets
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience in Technical Sales within the compressed air industry (preferably Parker, Atlas Copco-compatible filtration, dryers, pneumatics, or purification systems)
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Parker compressed air driers (refrigerated & desiccant)
    • Parker filtration systems
    • Compressed air purification and condensate management
    • General compressor and air system principles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and client training
  • Ability to interpret technical data sheets, flow rates, pressure ratings, and sizing requirements
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing key accounts
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
  • A degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
