A mining client of MTS is looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver a large-scale Human Resources technology project, ensuring successful implementation of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, systems integration, and business analysis.
The project is focused on Oracle HR systems and candidates interested must have experience with Oracle HCM or similar platforms
Strong project management skills (PMBOK or Agile).
Deep understanding of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
Advanced business analysis capabilities (BABOK Level 4).
Experience with Oracle HR systems and related technologies.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications : PMP / PRINCE2, TOGAF, CBAP (preferred).
8+ years' experience in technical project management, ideally in HR and mining industry.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for technical workstreams.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across architecture, integration, and analysis teams.
Oversee design and validation of HR technology solutions (Oracle HCM or similar).
Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with mining industry standards.
Define and enforce architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).
Deliver conceptual (L1), logical (L2), and physical (L3) architecture models for HR systems.
Manage integration of HR systems with payroll, ERP, and other enterprise platforms.
Ensure data flow integrity and interoperability across systems.
Lead requirements gathering and documentation for HR processes and systems.
Validate functional specifications and support testing and UAT.
Coordinate activities of solution architects, integration specialists, business analysts, and other technical team members.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
Act as the primary technical liaison between HR leadership, IT governance, and vendors.
Communicate technical progress and risks to senior management.
