Work Type: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote) New work in at one of South Africa’s largest independent broadband hubs; the current need is for Technical Network Engineer with a strong focus on DevOps. By nature we are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of network architecture, system automation, and full-stack development. You'll be at the forefront of building scalable systems, streamlining processes, and integrating tools that support core infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in developing, deploying, and managing network management systems
• Advanced experience with Linux-based servers and networking fundamentals
• Proficient in Python scripting, API integration (RESTful & XML-RPC), and automation tools
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MariaDB
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML
• Exposure to frameworks like Odoo, and tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Ansible, AWS, and Splunk
• Ability to simplify complex systems and work both independently and collaboratively

Education & Certifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or RHCE will earn you points
