Our UK-based client is aleading IT Managed Services Provider, recognised as one of the best companies to work for in and proudly certified as aB Corp.

As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to hire aTechnical Line Engineerto join their dynamic service desk team.

This remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with UK-based customers and technical teams, playing a key part in delivering high-quality IT support and infrastructure solutions across a wide client base.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd line technical support and resolve complex IT issues
  • Provide remote technical support
  • Manage support tickets via phone, email, and internal helpdesk system
  • Collaborate with Account Management on pre‑sales technical design and planning
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure resources
  • Implement and support networking infrastructure : routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi‑Fi
  • Set up and manage mobile device management (MDM) platforms
  • Assist with installation and implementation of IT infrastructure for new projects
  • Maintain technical documentation for internal and client use
  • Participate in the standard on‑call support rota
Qualifications
  • At least2 years' experiencein a IT support or similar roles
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of networking and infrastructure
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a high‑performance team
  • Organised and able to handle pressure in a fast‑paced support environment
