Overview

Our client is a South African fintech shaping the future of residential real estate. Their switching platform connects mortgage originators and banks, and they’re now expanding across the full mortgage value chain. As they grow, they’re looking for talented people who thrive at the intersection of business and technology.

They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll engage with stakeholders, model processes, analyse systems, and document requirements that enable rapid, high-quality delivery. You must be equally comfortable in workshops with business users and technical design sessions with developers.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients to capture and translate business/system requirements.
  • Analyse processes, systems, APIs, and data structures to inform solution design.
  • Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and system specs.
  • Maintain clear documentation across projects.
  • Partner with Product, Delivery, and Technology leads to define solutions that meet business priorities.
  • Support QA, UAT, and validation to ensure solutions are effective and reliable.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements for scalability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements by proactively finding opportunities to enhance processes and systems.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication at all levels.
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tech, Sciences, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.
  • Experience with Agile, Jira/ClickUp, SQL (basic–intermediate), process modelling (BPMN/UML).
  • Exposure to APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and user story mapping.
  • Familiar with UX/UI considerations.
