Tech Leads needed ASAP For a South African co.

Skills & Experience: Experience in multiple challenging projects within Java and JEE. Excellent knowledge of programming and problem solving within the JAVA environment. The ability to provide the correct solution for the project taking deadline, budget, resource availability and client constraints into account.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong Java/JEE programming expertise to develop solutions.
• Lead multiple challenging Java/JEE projects; mentor junior developers.
• Assist others in the team with challenges and provide best solutions.
• Work in a team of developers, liaising with project managers, business analysts and testers in an Agile software development methodology.
• Manage and complete tasks within required time frames and to a very high standard.
• Provide production support when required; constant monitoring and updates of the production environment.
• Identify and report trends when appropriate; investigate reasons for critical problems.
• Update logging system daily with accurate time and status of current work log for development and incidents.
