Job summary

Clicks Group Services is seeking an IT Audit Manager based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town to lead the group’s technology audit and digital assurance capability. You will deliver independent risk-based assurance across technology governance, cybersecurity, data governance and emerging tech risks, reporting to the Head of Internal Audit.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years IT audit experience in Big 4 or mid-tier firms.
• Extensive knowledge of IT governance, IT general controls, cybersecurity and data governance.
• Familiar with COBIT, ITIL, NIST, PMBOK and/or PRINCE2.
• Strong understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards (IIA 2024).
• Knowledge of SAP, cloud and enterprise tech environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT audit team and provide independent assurance over governance, risk management and controls relating to technology, cybersecurity and digital platforms.
• Develop and execute a risk-based technology audit plan covering IT general controls, application controls and cloud risk.
• Lead integrated audit engagements with cross-functional teams to assure technology-enabled processes.
• Define and continuously enhance audit methodologies, testing approaches and assurance frameworks.
• Ensure quality and consistency of risk assessments, work papers and remediation validation.
• Provide timely reporting to senior management and governance committees on technology risks and remediation progress.
• Strengthen the combined assurance model through collaboration with external audit while preserving independence.
• Lead, coach and develop IT audit team members in line with Clicks Group values.
