Purpose Of Talent Pool

Toyota South Africa Motors is proactively establishing a Talent Pool for potential future Team Member opportunities within our world‑class manufacturing plant.

About The Team Member Position

Passionate and hardworking individuals to register their profile and apply for potential roles such as:

  • General (Assembly, Logistics, Weld, Forklift Drivers, Spray Painters etc)
  • CO2 Welders (Welding Certificate is Mandatory)
  • Code 8, 10 & 14 drivers (Min 2 years’ driving experience)
Key Performance Areas
  • Productivity – Meeting the daily targets and cycle times.
  • Quality – Adhere strictly to quality guidelines and report defects immediately.
  • Time and attendance – timekeeping, arriving for tasks on time & completion of duties within reasonable & agreed timeframes.
  • Health & Safety – Follow all safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety rules including good 4S standards

Who Can Apply
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Completed NQF Level 4 and/or N3 qualification. Additional qualifications advantageous
  • Relevant certificate qualification for technical roles such as CO2 Welding
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production and/or Logistics environment is advantageous
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Completed Toyota Learnership (Advantageous)
