Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in an advisory role within a short term insurance environment is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ leadership in a call centre environment or acting as 2IC is essential.
  • Experience in short-term insurance servicing is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Executive service consultants providing VIP service to brokers and clients.
  • Handle escalated queries from stakeholders and report on team performance.
  • Conduct call coaching and quality audits within teams.

Key Purpose

To lead a team of Executive service consultants who provide a multi-faceted and VIP service with ongoing support to brokers and clients, including the growth of new business, increase of in-force premium, retention and claims following a loss or incident of a portfolio and Vitality drive support.

Building of strong and management of strong relationships focussing on service and claims support.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
  • Full line management function within scope of role
  • Work allocation to the teams
  • Reporting to management on Ops dashboard and team stats
  • Escalated query handling from various stakeholders
  • Reporting to various stakeholders on business
  • Call quality audits on own teams
  • Call coaching
  • Goal setting per advisor
  • Monthly 1:1’s and performance discussions
Education and Experience
  • Matric (Essential)
  • Full FAIS qualification Short term Insurance (Essential)
  • RE5 for representative (Essential)
  • Class of business certificate (Essential and/or advantageous)
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate (Essential and/or advantageous)
  • 3 years’ experience in an advisory role within a short term insurance environment (Essential)
  • 2 years’ short-term insurance servicing experience
  • Minimum of 2 year’s leadership in a call centre environment or acting as 2IC (Essential)
  • Degree (Advantageous)
