How You will Drive Operational Excellence

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Pipe Plant.

Your mission will be to strive for operational excellence and best practices, supporting Epiroc's values by ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost‑effective operation of the Pipe Plant.

You will be instrumental in contributing to the achievement of scheduled production and quality requirements while ensuring all team members strictly adhere to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) acts and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Overseeing daily production planning, resource allocation, and workflow to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining stringent quality control processes to ensure all products meet required specifications and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and developing the plant team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Safety & Compliance (QSHE): Ensuring all plant operations are conducted in full compliance with QSHE regulations, leading safety briefings, and actively promoting a zero‑harm safety culture.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Working closely with maintenance teams to ensure timely upkeep and repair of plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.

To be successful in this position, you must possess a proven blend of technical know‑how and leadership capability.

Technical Expertise

Strong background in manufacturing, piping, or heavy industrial operations, including knowledge of relevant machinery and processes.

Leadership & Management

Demonstrated experience in leading, supervising, and motivating a diverse production team.

Operational Management

Proven ability to manage production schedules, resources, and budgets to achieve targets.

QSHE Acumen

Thorough understanding and commitment to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards and best practices.

Excellent analytical and root‑cause analysis skills to quickly address operational issues.
