Job description

A well-established organisation seeking a Team Leader for the Informal Mainstream Market in GP North (area).

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all sales representatives, within assigned region, reach required targets.
  • Training new representatives in the trade.
  • Assisting and advising representatives on areas where they are lacking/underperforming.
  • Ensuring that all representatives have a minimum of 90 outlets signed up.
  • Induction process of newly appointed representatives.
  • Performance management of sales representatives where necessary.
  • Sending feedback to management and reporting on status of representatives in assigned region on a continuous basis.
  • Issuing and managing company assets.
  • Driving sales and volume.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year sales experience.
  • A minimum of 6 months in a managerial position.
Required Skills
  • Self‑motivator.
  • Ability to close sales by obtaining the commitment from the customer.
  • Expand existing business by sourcing new outlets.
  • Increasing brand portfolio visibility at outlets.
  • Effective listener.
  • Handling of administrative duties by maintaining accurate records and feedback effectively.

Package & Remuneration
  • Basic salary: R minimum per month (depending on team size).
  • Car allowance: R per month.
  • Commission: up to R per month.
  • Petrol allowance offered according to kilometres travelled weekly.
  • Provident fund and medical aid after 3 months of employment.
