Job Description :

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit in Newcastle where young people are given a fresh start providing an opportunity for them to return to mainstream education where possible. The successful candidate will work with secondary-age students providing essential support and guidance in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

The Role :
  • Full Time Monday to Friday
  • Working 8-4
  • Based on site in Newcastle
Key Responsibilities :
  • Support students with their academic and social development
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse needs
  • Help manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students
Requirements :
  • Qualified Teaching Assistant status ( Level 2 or above )
