Job summary

Advtech is seeking an experienced educator to join our Schools Division for the FET phase in a South African high school. You will plan, organise and implement instructional programs to guide students toward mastery and prepare them for life after graduation.

You will be accountable for academic delivery, assessment & reporting, student behaviour management, school brand ambassadorship, administration, and health & safety.

Qualifications

• A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B. Education (FET) with the specialization in the subjects to be taught.
• SACE certification and police clearance are requirements.
• 2-5 years Teaching Experience
• 2-5 years Specialist subject teaching
• Computer and digital literacy
• First Aid

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement appropriate instructional programs in a high school environment.
• Deliver academic delivery and assessment & reporting.
• Manage student behaviour and contribute to a safe school environment.
• Support school brand ambassadorship and while performing administrative duties.
