Overview

Konsise is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Tax Software Implementation Consultant to join our team.

Logistics

• Location: Hybrid (South Africa)
• Fibre internet required; occasional office‑based work when needed
• Working Hours: 07:00‑08:30

Core Purpose

Customer Success: Deliver successful software implementations, ensuring clients gain maximum value.
Product Development: Collaborate with Product and Development teams to test new features, provide client insights, and support integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Konsise's Tax Management software across client environments.
• Facilitate client workshops to capture and document business and tax requirements.
• Configure the software to align with client‑specific processes.
• Perform data mapping, imports, and validation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing expert guidance and best‑practice advice.
• Build trust and confidence through clear communication, documentation, and training.
• Ensure seamless onboarding and adoption of Konsise products.
• Identify and/escalate risks or issues that may impact project success.
• Partner with internal teams to manage client expectations.
• Participate in product testing, feedback, and workshops to enhance Konsise's product offerings.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical: Solid background in accounting, taxation, or company secretarial functions; strong technology orientation; Advanced MS Excel skills; prior experience with accounting / tax software implementations.
• Behavioural: Strong work ethic, ownership, and accountability; organised with excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills; outstanding verbal and written communication; high attention to detail; ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines; team‑oriented, collaborative, and proactive; strong client relationship‑building and stakeholder management; innovative mindset with continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or Financial Management (or equivalent).
• Honours in Taxation (advantageous).
• Minimum 1 year experience in accounting, tax, or company secretarial functions.
• Consulting experience with large corporate clients beneficial.
• Exposure to audit, accounting, or tax software such as SAP, Syspro, OneSource, CaseWare, or CloudTax.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
