Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in a tax environment.
• Registered Tax Practitioner or eligible for registration.
• Experience liaising with SARS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support tax department staff.
• Prepare, review, and submit Income Tax and Provisional Tax returns.
• Liaise directly with SARS to resolve complex queries.
• Provide technical guidance to compliance officers.
• Support the Tax Manager with dispute resolution.
• Review tax calculations and ensure adherence to legislation.
• Manage refund lists and payment tracking.
• Facilitate training of SAIT learners.
• Contribute to monthly reporting and continuous improvement.
