An innovative tax advisory firm in South Africa is seeking an intern for their Capital Allowances team. The role offers a chance to analyze property costs, assist in preparing client reports, and support senior colleagues. With a strong focus on training and development, the company provides structured support, including fully funded qualifications and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree and a passion for tax and accounting.
Capital allowances are a valuable tax relief for property expenditure. As part of our specialist Tax Advisory team, we help clients maximise their claims by analysing costs, identifying qualifying assets, and preparing detailed reports for HMRC.
You’ll receive structured training in tax and accounting fundamentals, alongside specialist capital allowances knowledge. From day one, you’ll be supported by experienced mentors and work on real client projects.
You’ll also build your skills in data analysis, reporting, and client communication, with access to digital tools and guidance from our tax technology experts.
You’ll be part of our AAT/CTA pathway, starting with the AAT qualification and progressing to CTA – a leading tax qualification for those specialising in advisory and technical areas.
