Key Requirements
  • Degree in Taxation, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a tax-focused role.
  • Advanced knowledge of SARS e‑Filing and relevant legislation.
  • Must be registered with an accredited professional body relevant to the field.
  • Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English is preferred.
What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Handling SARS queries, audits, objections, penalty waivers, and related correspondence.
  • Performing and submitting provisional and annual tax returns for individual and corporate clients.
  • Keeping clients informed and managing their expectations throughout the tax process.
  • Advising clients on tax planning, compliance, and legislative changes.
  • Dealing with SARS on clients' behalf, including appointments, updates, and verifications.
  • Submitting RST01 / RST02 directives, Paragraph 19 applications, and other advanced tax documentation.
  • Conducting e‑Filing and tracking audits to ensure clients are fully compliant.
  • Supporting clients through SARS verifications, audits, disputes, and appeals.
  • Ensuring every step aligns with the organisation's 4-eye principle and quality standards.
