Fyncor Group of Companies in Stellenbosch is seeking an Experienced Tax Compliance Officer to join our advisory team. You will gather and collate key tax information from corporate and high-net-worth clients, and manage full-cycle submissions for Personal, Trust, and Company returns with precise SARS correspondence.

With 5+ years in tax compliance within advisory or public accounting, you will leverage SARS eFiling, e@syFile, Accfin and Draftworx to deliver compliant, timely results while

Qualifications

• 5+ years dedicated tax compliance experience in an advisory or public accounting firm.
• Full working knowledge of SARS eFiling and e@syFile.
• Strong proficiency in Accfin and Draftworx.

Responsibilities

• Gather and collate key tax information from corporate and high-net-worth clients.
• Manage full-cycle submissions for Personal (ITR12), Trust (IT12TR), and Company (ITR14) tax returns.
• Correspondence & Query Management: attend to all tax-related queries from clients and SARS correspondence.
• Audit & Dispute Resolution: lead responses to SARS audits, verifications, objections, and draft opinions/objections.
• Transactional Compliance: oversee Provisional Tax (IRP6), VAT, and EMP201/EMP501 submissions.
• Regulatory Monitoring: track Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and Tax Administration Act changes and apply practical solutions.

Our growing advisory team is looking for a meticulous, client-focused Tax Compliance Officer to join our Stellenbosch office.

What you’ll do:

• Gather and collate key tax information from corporate and high-net-worth clients.
• Manage full-cycle submissions for Personal (ITR12), Trust (IT12TR), and Company (ITR14) tax returns.
• Correspondence & Query Management: Attend to all tax-related queries from clients and manage all formal SARS correspondence efficiently, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
• Audit & Dispute Resolution: Lead responses to SARS audits, verifications, and objections. Draft technically sound tax opinions and legal objections where required.
• Transactional Compliance: Oversee and manage routine client tax submissions, including Provisional Tax (IRP6), VAT, and Employee Taxes (EMP201/EMP501).
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay at the forefront of legislative updates to the Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and Tax Administration Act, translating changes into practical solutions for clients.

What we’re looking for:

• 5 years+ dedicated tax compliance experience in an advisory or public accounting firm.
• Full working knowledge of SARS eFiling and e@syFile.
• Strong proficiency in Accfin and Draftworx.
• BCom (Accounting/Taxation) degree or similar will be highly advantageous.
