Job summary

A consulting firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Corporate Tax specialist to prepare and submit annual income tax returns, assist with tax accounting, and manage ethical tax practices. Candidates must hold a BCom Accounting qualification and have at least 5 years of experience in Corporate Tax. This role includes interaction with SARS for audits and carbon tax submissions.

• Must have a BCom Accounting Qualification Non-Negotiable.
• Must have 5 years' experience in Corporate Tax.
• Honours and completed Articles will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit annual income tax returns and provisional tax.
• Assist with tax accounting for budgets, forecasts and tax year-end.
• Prepare responses for income tax verification.
• Assist with SARS audits, prepare and submit carbon tax returns.
• Submit returns for dividend withholding tax.
