About The Role
We are looking for a Talent Resourcer / 180 Recruitment Consultant to focus exclusively on the candidate side within the legal sector, specifically professionals with litigation experience. You must have previous experience recruiting within the legal sector. You will not be responsible for client business development or managing client relationships. Instead, your core focus will be sourcing, engaging and managing candidates for live vacancies handled by the client-facing consultants / hiring managers. This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone who enjoys research, sourcing and building strong candidate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Talent Mapping
- Proactively identify and source legal professionals with litigation backgrounds, including litigation assistants and solicitors.
- Use a mix of channels: LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, networking and referrals.
- Map out talent pools within specific litigation practice areas, PQE levels and locations.
Candidate Engagement & Screening
- Conduct initial telephone/video screenings to understand candidates’ experience, litigation exposure, motivations and salary expectations.
- Assess suitability against live roles and future hiring needs provided by the client-facing consultants / internal stakeholders.
- Prepare concise, accurate candidate profiles and summaries for handover to the relevant consultant / hiring manager.
Pipeline & Process Management
- Build and maintain warm pipelines of litigation candidates (litigation assistants, solicitors, and other fee earners) for recurring or high-priority roles.
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and internal consultants / hiring managers where required.
- Track candidate progress through the recruitment process and keep all records up to date in the ATS/CRM.
Candidate Experience & Brand Representation
- Provide a professional, timely and positive experience for all candidates.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the process, even when outcomes are not successful.
- Represent the organisation/agency’s brand professionally in all communications.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience recruiting in the legal sector, specifically for litigation assistants and/or litigation solicitors.
- Experience in recruitment resourcing or 180 recruitment (candidate‑focused), ideally within legal or professional services.
- Ability to understand and discuss litigation‑focused roles and career paths with legal professionals.
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn and job boards, with evidence of building targeted talent pools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and credible manner.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles, candidates and priorities.
- Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision and strong self‑discipline.
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting recruiters working specifically on litigation roles.
- Existing network or database of litigation lawyers and legal support staff.
- Experience using an ATS/CRM and basic recruitment metrics/reporting.
Personal Attributes
- Detail‑oriented and process‑driven, with a focus on doing things properly and accurately.
- Candidate‑centric mindset – genuinely interested in understanding people’s careers and motivations.
- Resilient and persistent, able to keep sourcing and nurturing pipelines over the long term.
- Collaborative – happy to work closely with consultants and hiring managers, taking direction on priorities.
