Our Client in the Citrus sector is currently seeking a Systems Supervisor.

• A qualification in Project Management, Business Systems, or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience in the citrus industry or a packhouse environment is beneficial.

Operational Excellence & Systems Control

• Agile Run Management: Disseminate precise packing instructions prior to each run and execute real-time adjustments for quality shifts or order amendments.
• Workflow Optimization: Direct packing sequences to eliminate overpacking and ensure seamless operational flow.
• Data Integrity: Validate the accuracy of all label details and maintain meticulous control sheet records.
• End-of-Run Reconciliation: Execute the timely and accurate balancing of all packouts at the conclusion of every production cycle.
• System Oversight: Monitor all registration and labelling platforms (including Gesvatec and specialized market labels) to ensure technical compliance.
• Inventory Accuracy: Manage the correct handling of half-pallets and ensure timeous labelling from speed packers and jumble fillers.

Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation

• Loss Prevention: Oversee the responsible handling of equipment and consumables to minimize wastage and financial loss.
• Strategic Alignment: Audit packouts against marketing plans and packing instructions to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Rejection Prevention: Proactively mitigate risks associated with labelling, inventory, or registration to prevent quality rejections.

Compliance, Health & Safety

• Standard Maintenance: Uphold rigorous hygiene, quality, and safety protocols within the department.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure total team compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and OHSA requirements.
