In this strategic role, you will lead the design and execution of sustainability risk management, ESG reporting, and carbon accounting across the Bank. Your work will directly influence climate-aligned decision-making, enhance disclosure credibility, and ensure the organisation’s alignment with global sustainability frameworks.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and manage ESG and sustainability reporting systems for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop carbon accounting and GHG emissions frameworks aligned with global standards (GHG Protocol, PCAF).

  • Coordinate disclosures to regulators, funders, and development finance institutions.

  • Integrate sustainability insights into credit, investment, and risk decision-making.

  • Lead assurance-readiness of ESG performance indicators and disclosures.

  • Monitor compliance with frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, ISSB, and SDGs.

  • Identify sustainability risks and emerging ESG trends, proposing data-driven mitigation strategies.

  • Support the development of sustainability-linked financial products and climate-related initiatives.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Risk, or Business Management.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or risk management.

  • Proven knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and assurance processes.

  • Strong data analysis, systems thinking, and communication skills.

  • Understanding of financial services and agricultural finance environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams and disciplines.
