In this strategic role, you will lead the design and execution of sustainability risk management, ESG reporting, and carbon accounting across the Bank. Your work will directly influence climate-aligned decision-making, enhance disclosure credibility, and ensure the organisation’s alignment with global sustainability frameworks.
Design and manage ESG and sustainability reporting systems for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop carbon accounting and GHG emissions frameworks aligned with global standards (GHG Protocol, PCAF).
Coordinate disclosures to regulators, funders, and development finance institutions.
Integrate sustainability insights into credit, investment, and risk decision-making.
Lead assurance-readiness of ESG performance indicators and disclosures.
Monitor compliance with frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, ISSB, and SDGs.
Identify sustainability risks and emerging ESG trends, proposing data-driven mitigation strategies.
Support the development of sustainability-linked financial products and climate-related initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Risk, or Business Management.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or risk management.
Proven knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and assurance processes.
Strong data analysis, systems thinking, and communication skills.
Understanding of financial services and agricultural finance environments.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams and disciplines.
Accurate, credible, and timely ESG and carbon disclosures.
Integration of sustainability risk management into all levels of business decision-making.
Measurable progress towards climate-aligned financial and operational goals.
