Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware such as computers, servers, and networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with survey equipment (e.g., GNSS receivers, total stations).
• Ensure all survey-related software (e.g., CAD, GIS) is installed and updated.
• Manage internal networks and ensure reliable connectivity, including VPN for field teams.
• Perform regular backups of critical survey data and ensure efficient data transfer.
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Provide IT support for integrating survey equipment with software and systems.
• Offer technical support and troubleshoot hardware or software issues for staff.
• Optimize IT systems and recommend upgrades based on emerging technologies.
• Train staff on survey-related software and create user documentation.
• Ensure IT security compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain IT inventory, including survey equipment, and manage procurement.
