Support Services Officer – HR & Finance

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Support Services Officer (HR & Finance) to help keep our administrative, financial, and human resource functions running smoothly.
You’ll support both the Finance and HR teams — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across daily operations — while being a key point of contact for internal coordination and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requisitions.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations (bank, supplier, and petty cash).
- Maintain accurate financial data using accounting systems such as Xero.
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, and expenditure tracking.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely payment cycles.
- Prepare and organize documentation for internal and external audits.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and databases.
- Support recruitment, contract management, and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate leave schedules, attendance tracking, and payroll inputs.
- Assist in performance management and HR policy compliance.
Office & Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to management and staff.
- Manage office logistics, supplies, and vendor coordination.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and ensure proper recordkeeping.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years’ experience in a finance or HR support role.
- Knowledge of accounting software (preferably Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
